Liman Rachels is licensed by the California Board of Acupuncturists for the Certification of Acupuncturist. She has completed studies at University of Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine and got her Bachelor of Medicine degree (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in China. She has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in China for more than ten years. Also, she got her Ph.D. degree in Medical Science at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Japan.
Liman was raised in a medical family in Tianjin of China. Her father was a Western and Traditional Chinese Medical doctor, mother was a nurse, and sister is a pediatrician. She was influenced by her parents and got lots of medical knowledge from them when she was a teenager. Her interests in Traditional Chinese Medical spurred her going to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. During five years of studying at university, she understood that the superior doctor put more efforts on preventing illness. And Traditional Chinese Medicine has many ways to prevent illness, such as herbs, acupuncture, massage, physiotherapy, etc. She wants to become a superior doctor. So, when she took doctor course in the university she chose to do research on pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She did not only research, but also investigated and studied Japanese medical skills, and treated many Japanese patients with Traditional Chinese Medicine during her Ph. D course in Japan.
Liman has many experiences of Traditional Chinese Medicine while living in China and Japan. As time goes on, she has specialty of care health by using of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Liman got her license of acupuncture of California within a very short period of time. She believes that people can benefit from Traditional Chinese Medicine for their nice health and longevity life.
